This course provides participants with advanced skills and tools for managing complex peripheral artery disease (PAD). It combines didactic instruction, hands-on training and collaborative knowledge exchange among healthcare professionals dedicated to innovation in vascular treatment and improved
patient outcomes.
OVERVIEW
Faculty will share clinical applications and recent clinical data regarding IVL and covered stents.
~ GORE® VIABAHN® VBX Balloon Expandable Endoprosthesis for treatment of iliac occlusive disease.
~ Shockwave™ E8: the Peripheral IVL workhorse for ATK and BTK.
~ GORE® VIABAHN® Endoprosthesis for treatment of iliac and SFA occlusive disease.
~ Shockwave™ Javelin Peripheral IVL for calcified occlusive disease.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Early career interventional cardiologists, interventional radiologists and vascular surgeons who are:
~ Currently treating or preparing to treat PAD patients in their institutions.
~ Seeking to build or reinforce their aptitude in the use of endovascular therapies to treat PAD.
